OPENING DAY IS SATURDAY, APRIL 10TH!

The thaw is on and DBYS is now in full "swing"!  With the "season opener" less than a month away - so many important things are happening!   A special thank you to all who volunteered to coach in the league this Spring!  Thank you for helping make a difference for the kids! 

Evaluations for all divisions are now complete!  Teams are currently being formed and coaches will be contacting players by 3/20!   Weather permitting, we'll begin practing that same week! 

ADDITIONAL DATES TO ADD TO YOUR CALENDAR!

The wet weather is thawing out the fields, but making it difficult to get them prepped for the start of the season!  It's Spring - we expect it - but we do need to get started!  So - as we hope to give a bit more time for the "sun to come out and dry up all the rain", we've scheduled field clean up days as follows: 

Saturday, March 20^th - 9:00 AM:  Baseball families meet at Hill Road, Softball families at Lake Drive!  We'll use this morning to hang our sponsor's banners; and clean up, organize and prepare the sheds and snack bars! 

Saturday, March 27^th - 9:00 AM:  Another Saturday morning at the fields!  This time with hopes to get some actual fieldwork done!  Bring your rakes, shovels, brooms and whatever else you've learned from past experience that we always need! 

Both these volunteer dates are huge and so critical to the league!  We encourage everyone to join us for any time you have available!  Hope to see a good showing of folks!  As always, bring the kids along - they are great helpers!    

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  OPENING DAY IS SATURDAY, APRIL 10TH!  Field Clean Up Days are Saturday, March 20th and 27th!  Mandatory Coaches Meetings before each Clean Up Day!   

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED, COMMITTEES ARE FORMING!We need folks to help with the following:

• OPENING DAY CEREMONIES
• SPONSORSHIPS
• UNIFORMS
• FIELD MAINTENANCE
• DIVISION COMMISSIONERS

NEXT GENERAL MEETING:  Tuesday, March 16th, 7:00 PM - AIC Cafeteria!  Softball Meeting prior to the general meeting - 6:30 PM.
